UX Designer — EUR-Lex Reading Experience

This mid UX Designer role sits inside an ongoing engagement for an EU institution client, on-site in Luxembourg. The brief is improving how internal staff, and on some services EU citizens, interact with the institution's digital tools.

What you'll be doing

• Run user research and translate findings into concrete design decisions
• Design and maintain flows, wireframes and prototypes in Figma
• Apply and champion accessibility (WCAG) standards across the product
• Work with developers through implementation to protect design intent

Tech environment Figma, user research, accessibility (WCAG) standards, design systems.

What we're looking for

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• A portfolio showing research-led design work
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Comfortable working under either a freelance contract or fixed-term employment, whichever suits the successful candidate
